Dr. Tihanyi László

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Semmelweis University of Medicine in 1981. I passed my board examinations in internal medicine in 1986, in cardiology in 1992 and in medical rehabilitation (cardiology) in 2008. From 1981 to 1985 I worked in the phonomechanocardiography team. From 1982, as a member of the angiology team, I performed first Doppler and later duplex scan examinations. In 1986 I joined the echocardiography team, and since 1994 I have been head of the angiology team. In 2006 I obtained the professional title of „Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist”, and later a level 2 Honoris Causa transthoracic echocardiography licence, a level 2 transthoracic echocardiography licence and an adult transthoracic echocardiography licence. Among others, I am a member of the Cardiology Working Committee of the Veszprém Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (VEAB), the Hungarian Society of Cardiology, the Hungarian Society of Cardiac Rehabilitation and the Hungarian Diabetes Association.
