About me
I graduated from the University Medical School of Pécs in 1992. I passed my board examination in internal medicine in 1997, followed by cardiology in 1999. Alongside general internal medicine, I have had the opportunity to focus particularly on endocrinology, metabolic disorders and diabetology. In cardiology, I have gained experience in the so-called non-invasive field. My specialist areas are the investigation and treatment of chest pain, hypertension, and valvular and coronary artery disease. I have also acquired particular expertise in the treatment and long-term care of adult congenital heart disease. I have been a board member of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Working Group of the Hungarian Society of Cardiology since 2019. My research focused on the effect of lifestyle change (especially physical activity) on cardiovascular risk factors, and I co-authored several presentations and papers on the subject. In my work, my primary aims are holistic care, the primary prevention of cardiovascular disease, and patient education.
