About me
I am a specialist in obesity medicine, diabetology and internal medicine. From 1995 to 2005 I worked at the National Diabetes Care Centre, which operated partly within Szent Imre Hospital, as consultant in charge of the diabetes inpatient unit. Between 2005 and 2016 I worked in England, Germany and France in the field of diabetology for multinational pharmaceutical companies (in research and development), and during this period I also provided outpatient specialist diabetes care in Guildford and Crawley in the United Kingdom.
My areas of interest are the comprehensive, holistic care of overweight, insulin resistance and diabetes, and the clinical use of medical technology developments (CGM). I place particular emphasis on optimising doctor-patient communication and, through it, on improving the quality of care based on cooperation and partnership. My guiding principle is a comprehensive approach to cardio-renal-metabolic syndrome (cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic diseases) in patient care.
