About me
I completed my medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Semmelweis University. I obtained my board certification in pulmonology at the Korányi National Institute of Pulmonology, which operates as a national centre hospital and designated infectious diseases hospital. There I built strong foundations in the treatment of asthma, COPD, lung cancer and rare lung diseases. Through my work and training, I have gained experience in bronchoscopy.
Over the past year I have worked on the front line providing respiratory care for patients with moderate and severe COVID-19. My areas of interest are targeted therapy and immunotherapy for lung cancer, and innovative, patient-centred care for other respiratory diseases based on international guidelines.
In Vienna, at the Allgemeines Krankenhaus, I gained experience in the care of thoracic diseases. During a study visit to the United States, I took part in research on lung diseases. I consider the prevention and early detection of disease to be particularly important.
